JONATHAN EPSTEIN

Jonathan has a strong background in economics and finance, having worked in the corporate, funds management and public sectors for over 25 years.  He was senior economics adviser to former Federal Treasurer Peter Costello AC where he specialised in financial system regulation and played a key role in the establishment of Australia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund “The Future Fund”, which he joined as a senior investment analyst.

Jonathan was the Managing Director of ECG Financial Pty Ltd, an advisory business on mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, competition and regulatory issues impacting business in Australia.  Jonathan has a B.Comm (Economics), Grad Dip (Economics) and M.Ec (core subjects completed) from Monash University.

PETER LANG

Peter has enjoyed a 25 year career across financial services, corporate advisory and venture financing accruing significant business planning, operational and risk management expertise.  Peter had a successful 15 year period with ASX200 McMillan Shakespeare Ltd (MMS) as COO and Group Executive Customer and Corporate Affairs, including 10 years as the company’s Responsible Officer overseeing trust fund processing of AUD $5billion annually.  Prior to McMillan’s Peter worked in the funds management division of Colonial Ltd.

Over the last 8 years Peter has been the Managing Director of Propero Capital which undertakes corporate advisory and venture financing principally in the early stage venture market.  He has an MBA from Sydney University and has completed various post graduate programs at Harvard and Stanford Universities in the USA.  He is a Director of NFP Make a Mark Australia.
